病院へ行った後、通常は腰痛を患っていても動ける範囲であれば、外来での治療になります。このとき自力では動けない方であれば、入院をすすめられる場合があるでしょう。もし入院した場合は、炎症を起こしている部分の症状を和らげる抗炎症薬を服用します。そして、動ける範囲でリハビリをするという治療を行なうのが一般的です。その後、レントゲンやMRIを撮るなどの検査を行い、何らかの異常がある場合は手術になるということもあります。

入院期間は人それぞれです

入院期間については、重い疾患などが見当たらない場合、症状にもよりますが約1週間から10日ほどです。動ける状態になれば、退院することができるでしょう。しかし、もし何らかの疾患が見つかった場合、入院期間は1ヶ月を超えることもあるようです。みなさんそれぞれの生活があり、一日でも早く社会復帰したいと思われるかと存じます。ですが、無理をしてしまっては腰痛は長引いてしまいます。入院してしまったときはなるべく無理をせず、ゆっくりと養生することが大切といえるでしょう。

腰痛は、横になっていてもズキズキと痛む場合もあります。病院のベッドで周りに誰もいなく、痛みに耐えるのは辛いですよね。そこで、次に病院のベッドの上でもできる腰痛を軽減するための方法をご紹介します。

布団の固さを調節する

寝ているベッドの布団の状態により、痛みが発生することがあります。硬すぎたり柔らかすぎたりすることで、腰に刺激を与えてしまうのです。そのようなときは、布団の固さを調節しましょう。大きなタオルなどを折り曲げて、腰の下に敷いてみましょう。硬さが足りないときは、タオルを何度も折り曲げて調節してくださいね。

腰に少し刺激を与える

あまりに痛みが続く場合は、少しだけ腰に力を加えてあげるのも1とつの方法です。仰向けに寝転がった状態で、両膝を立て、腰の部分をベッドに5秒ほどぐーっと押しましょう。終わったら力を抜いて何度か繰り返してみてください。終わったら両足を伸ばして、軽く深呼吸してくださいね。個人差がありますが、腰の痛みが少し軽くなるでしょう。

膝の間にクッションを挟む

腰痛が楽な姿勢は、人それぞれです。しかし、もし横向きで寝転がる姿勢をとると一番痛みがマシな方は、膝の間にクッションを挟むと痛みが和らぐといわれています。左側が上の状態のほうが楽か、右側が上の状態のほうが楽かは腰の痛み方にもよります。ご自身で試してみて、楽な体勢をとってくださいね。
