またその血液は通常より薄まった状態の血液にする必要があります。そのため妊娠後期の妊婦の体は血液中の水分量を増加させ血液をさらさらの状態にし、胎盤の中の細かい血管でも血液が行き渡り栄養や酸素が胎児へスムーズに送られるように変化します。血液中の水分量が増えることによりいっそうむくみやすい状況にはなりますが妊娠中には必要な変化と言えます。

大きくなった子宮がリンパ節を圧迫するため

妊娠中のむくみは下半身に出ることが多いのですが特に妊娠後期から臨月は胎児の成長が著しく子宮もそれに伴って大きくなります。大きくなった子宮は血管だけでなく足の付け根にあるリンパ節を圧迫します。リンパ節が圧迫されることによりリンパの流れが滞り下半身に溜まった水分が抜けにくい状態になり足や下半身のむくみが酷くなるのです。

妊娠中毒症の影響

妊娠後期から臨月にかけて妊娠中毒症の方が増えます。現在妊娠中毒症は妊娠高血圧症候群と呼ばれています。主な症状は高血圧と尿タンパクです。以前はむくみも症状に入れてありましたが現在ははずされています。

妊娠中毒症の定義上からは外されていますがむくみが酷い方、急にむくみが強くなった方、朝方でもむくんだ状態が取れていない方は注意が必要です。

②水分はいつもどおり摂取する

むくみがあるからと言って水分を控えるのはかえってよくありません。妊娠後期から臨月の間は通常、体内の水分の30%増し程度になっている必要があるからです。ただ水分を取るときにはあまり冷たすぎるものは避ける必要があります。体を冷やしすぎるのはよくないからです。

③夏場の冷房は控えめにする

妊娠中は体温も少し高めで特に暑い夏場に臨月を迎える方は暑さ対策が欠かせませんが、冷房を効かせすぎた部屋に長時間いるのはよくありません。体が冷えすぎてしまい胎児を守るために子宮は羊水を増やしてしまうためむくみが酷くなります。暑い夏場ですが体の芯から冷やしてしまい過ぎない様に工夫をしましょう。

④食生活で工夫する

むくみがあるときには塩分の多い食事を控えるように言われます。塩分の多い食事はむくみだけでなく色々な病気とも関係がありますので普段の食事が塩分多めの方は少し薄味になるように工夫しましょう。栄養のバランスを考えて食事をとるようにします。

⑤ストレスを減らせるリラックス法を取り入れる

ストレスは血流を悪くしむくみやすくさせるためなるべくためない様にしましょう。ストレス解消方は色々あります。手軽に楽しめる方法にアロマテラピーがあります。

寝る前に好きなアロマをたく事でストレスの緩和が出来ます。アロマは様々な使用方法があります。マッサージオイルに混ぜることも出来ます。ただし妊娠中に使用が薦められないアロマもありますので注意してください。専門家に使用方法を確認し安全に使用してください。
