むくみと塩分の取り過ぎは密接な関係があります。塩分をたくさん取ると体内の塩分濃度が高まるので、身体は塩分濃度を調整するために水分の排出を抑えます。結果的にむくみの状態になります。味の濃い食事や外食は塩分が多くなる傾向があります。

枕が低すぎる

水は低いところに流れ溜まります。日中は立ち仕事や座り仕事のために足に水分が多くなりますので足がむくみやすくなっています。寝ているときに枕が低すぎると頭に水分が集まり顔やまぶたにむくみが出ます。枕の高さは水分が溜まる場所に関係してきますのでいつも使用している枕と違う枕の場合は高さに気を付ける必要があります。

泣いた後や目がかゆいときにまぶたをこすり過ぎると翌日まぶたがむくみやすくなります。泣いた後であればティッシュ等で優しくふき取ってください。目がかゆい場合はこすりたくなりますがこすり過ぎはむくみに繋がりますので気を付けましょう。こすり癖のある方も注意しましょう。

②メイクをきれいに落とす

メイクを落とさずに寝たり落とし方が不十分であれば皮膚が炎症を起こす可能性がありますのでメイクは必ずきれいに落としましょう。ただメイクを落とすときも顔やまぶたをこすり過ぎると毛細血管が傷つき、組織液が皮膚下にしみ出してむくみの原因になりますので、メイクは優しく洗って落としましょう。また手が清潔でない場合も皮膚が炎症を起こす原因となることがありますので手は清潔にしておきましょう。

③塩分控えめな食事を心がける

普段味の濃い食事が好きな方や外食が多い方は塩分の取り過ぎに注意上が塩分の取り過ぎはむくみの主な原因の一つです。塩分の多い食事の時や外食が多くなる時は合わせてカリウムが多く含まれている食品を一緒にとるようにしましょう。カリウムは取り過ぎた塩分を体の外へ排出してくれます。カリウムを多く含む主な食品はバナナ、アボカド、ほうれん草、キノコ、納豆、大豆、キウイなどです。

④枕の高さを調整する

寝る時に枕を使用される方も多いと思いますが枕の高さもむくみと関係があります。高さが低すぎる枕は顔に水分が溜まりますので適度な高さの枕を使用するようにしてください。
高さが高すぎる枕は身体に負担になりますので避けましょう。
