花粉症による倦怠感の原因と改善策

花粉症の症状として最も多いのが、くしゃみ鼻水、鼻づまりと目の痒みですが、それに続いてやってくるのが倦怠感です。

花粉症の時期は頭や体が重く集中力も無くなってしまいますね、あの倦怠感はいったいどこからやってくるのでしょうか?

花粉症による眠気やだるさを少しでも解消してどうにかこの辛い季節を無事乗り切りたいものです。

花粉症による倦怠感の原因

花粉症による倦怠感の原因にはおもに以下の二つが考えられます。

花粉症シーズンは薬が手放せなくなってしまう人も少なくありません。普段薬をあまり飲まない人でも花粉症のピーク時だけは毎日薬を飲まないとやっていられないという人も少なくないのでは?

花粉症の薬には眠気や倦怠感などの副作用を伴うものがあります。最近では眠くならない花粉症の薬もあるようですが、やはりその分花粉症に対する効果が薄いのは仕方のない事でしょう。

お医者さんや薬剤師さんにと充分に相談したうえで、シチュエーションに合わせて薬を使い分けるようにすると良いかもしれません。

鼻づまりが原因

花粉症の季節は鼻がつまりっぱなし、鼻から十分に呼吸が出来ないという人も多いと思いますが、呼吸が充分でなければ当然頭もぼーっとしてきてしまいます。それにともなって倦怠感を感じるようになります。

この鼻づまりですが、頭が重いのを通り越して激しい偏頭痛の原因ともなります。やはいどうにかして鼻はとおしておきたいですね。

睡眠中の鼻からの呼吸が充分でないのも倦怠感の原因として考えられます。一晩や二晩ではなく一カ月も二カ月も毎晩充分な酸素が脳や体に送られずにいるのだから、体に倦怠感を感じるのも当然と言えます。

花粉症による倦怠感の改善策

薬の飲みすぎによる倦怠感の解消ですが、これは薬をなるべく飲まないようにするしか方法がありません。

とは言っても花粉症のあの辛さを引きずったままでは仕事もろくに出来ません。どうにか薬の代わりとなる物で花粉症の症状を和らげましょう。

ハーブの中には花粉症の症状を緩和してくれるものが数多くあります。中でもユーカリやペッパーミントは呼吸器の調子を整え鼻づまりを解消するのに効果があります。ハーブティーとして飲む他にもエッセンシャルオイルをマグカップなどのお湯に垂らし蒸気を吸入する事で鼻づまりが解消されます。

目の痒みに効くハーブとしてはアイブライトが有名です。ハーブを活用する事によって薬の量を減らし、花粉症による倦怠感を少しでも減らしましょう。

夜寝ている間も鼻からの呼吸を確保したい場合に便利なのが鼻腔拡張テープです。鼻の頭に貼って寝ている間の気道を確保できます。他にも鼻の通りを良くするツボに貼るタイプの物やミントの香りで気道を確保するものなど、様々な商品が販売されているので自分にあったものを探してみると良いでしょう。

花粉症による倦怠感の原因は他にも!?

花粉症の時期は睡眠の質も低下しがちです、この知らず知らずの内に落ちいっている睡眠不足は自律神経の乱れを招き、昼間の倦怠感の原因となります。まずは寝室まで花粉を持ちこまないように注意し、そのうえで普段よりも多めに睡眠時間を用意するのが良いでしょう。

また飲酒や喫煙も花粉症の時期はいつも以上に体の倦怠感を招いてしまうと言われています。せめて花粉症のシーズンは体を冷やすビールを控え、代わりにポリフェノールが豊富に含まれる赤ワインや体を温める日本酒などを飲むようにすると良いでしょう。ただし飲みすぎはどちらにしてもNGです。

その他にも花粉症による倦怠感の原因として免疫力の低下と体力の消耗があります。特に花粉症のピークシーズンは薬を飲み続ける事とストレスによる免疫力の低下がみられます。

また度重なるくしゃみなどで思った以上に体力奪われています。やはりこれも先述したように充分な睡眠時間に加え、バランスの良い食事が重要となります。またただでさえ花粉症でストレスが溜まっているので、これ以上余計なストレスを溜めないように。ストレス発散は意識的に行う方が良いですね。

以上花粉症による倦怠感の原因と解決策でしたがいかがでしたでしょうか?今シーズンはあまり薬に頼ることなく、倦怠感もそこそこに花粉症のピークを乗り切って下さい。
